Under an initiative to make Child Exploitation Free Villages in Koderma and Giridih districts of Jharkhand run by Bhartiya Kishan Sangh and supported by TDH Netherlands, children of Balmanch has met with Shri Ramesh Gholap, Deputy Commissioner of Koderma district and shared their views. They also shared about the plantation programme by them for water conservation. 1000 plants has been planted by children also, members of Bal Manch are planning plantation of additional 5100 plants. During the event, Shri Ramesh Gholap has shared Mobile Library books among the Children of Bal Manch and he said all the children of Bal Manch must give due importance to their studies and make books their friends. He appreciated and encouraged Bal Manch’s children for their efforts and assured for his constant support for the same. Children also requested Bal darbar( Children’s Grievance forum).similar to janta Darbar that is being regularly convened by the DC. DC also agreed to the proposal from Balmanch.
