NATIONAL CONSULTATION AT PURI, ODISHA

The Secretary of Bal Kalyan Sangh, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Mishra as a panelist at the National Consultation and Convergence Meeting to End Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on 13th – 14thMarch 2021 at Puri, Odisha. He represented Jharkhand in the consultation where he spoke about child trafficking, the various ways in which this menace needs to curbed and how there could be a convergence of all stake holders. He was also a part of the National Board Meeting of the National Action and Coordinating Group against Violence against Women and Children that was held on the 15th of March, 2021 where Hon’bleShri. PriyankKanoongo, Chairperson of NCPCR was also present.

Police Training

रांची के एटीएस होतवार में सीआईडी द्वारा आयोजित बीपीएनआरडी सहयोग से के विभिन्न थानों के महिला थाना प्रभारी की कार्यशाल में पुलिस थानों को संवेदनशील बनाने तथा बाल सुलभ व्यापार किशोर न्याय अधिनियम 2015 व यौन अपराध से बालकों का संरक्षण अधिनियम 2012 की बारीकियों को समझने हेतु राँची में पाँच दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण का आयोजन में अथिति वक़्ता के रूप में भाग लिया !पुलिसकार्यक्रम के माध्यम से इन्हें बच्चों के साथ बरती जानेवाली संवेदनशीलता का प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है.

झारखंड के राज्यपाल माननीय श्रीमती द्रोपदी मुर्मू के साथ श्री प्रियंक कानूनगो अध्यक्ष राष्ट्रीय बाल अधिकार संरक्षण आयोग नई दिल्ली और श्री संजय कुमार मिश्र सचिव बाल कल्याण संघ (BKS) रांची के साथ अनौपचारिक मुलाकात हुई जिसमें झारखंड में बाल तस्करी, बाल श्रम के मुद्दे को लेकर माननीय राज्यपाल का ध्यान आकृष्ट किया गया।

Distribution of Mobile Library Books

Under an initiative to make Child Exploitation Free Villages in Koderma and Giridih districts of Jharkhand run by Bal Kalyan Sangh and supported by TDH Netherlands, children of Balmanch has met with Shri Ramesh Gholap, Deputy Commissioner of Koderma district and shared their views. They also shared about the plantation program by them for water conservation. 1000 plants have been planted by children also, members of Bal Manch are planning plantation of additional 5100 plants. Summer Camp In Koderma

A two days summer camp was organized at Koderma district on 25-26th May 2019. In the camp more than 70 children were participated and enjoyed their vacation. The objective behind the camp is to give happiness to the heard to reach children and the children whom parents are working in the mica mine area and give knowledge to the children about their rights and protection policies. Saksham Vidyalaya – Saksham Bachca – Saksham Sikshak

Over thousand school children of ten government schools, survivors of trafficking and child labour of shelter home- Kishori Niketan attired in blue colour uniform joined hands to celebrate 29th International Child Rights Day held at Bijupada on 20 November 2018. The chief guest of the programme was Mr. Arjun Munda who appreciate  the efforts of BKS , said that their undue efforts to work tirelessly for children’s right will never go unnoticed as it has set the benchmark for various stake holders throughout the state.

Swavalamban

Swavalamban is a project of Bal Kalyan Sangh collaborates with Netherland Embassy which provides free of cost skill development training program for the girls of Jharkhand. The present scenario of the Jharkhand shows that most of the young girls of the interior area are trafficked to the metropolitan cities in search of work. The economically backward family who cannot effort the living cost of their children were sent their children to work in the other states to earn some money and support their family but most of the time fake placement agencies sell the children especially girls to the hotels, brothels, Massage parlours etc., (more…)
