Webinar on “Mental Health of Children in the Digital Age” -World Mental Health Day 2025

On the occasion of World Mental Health Day 2025, Bal Kalyan Sangh, in collaboration with ATSEC India, organized a national-level webinar on “Mental Health of Children in the Digital Age.” Over 1500 participants including experts, NGOs, educators, and school children joined the discussion. The event was led by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Secretary of Bal Kalyan Sangh and National Coordinator of ATSEC India. Summer Camp In Koderma

A two days summer camp was organized at Koderma district on 25-26th May 2019. In the camp more than 70 children were participated and enjoyed their vacation. The objective behind the camp is to give happiness to the heard to reach children and the children whom parents are working in the mica mine area and give knowledge to the children about their rights and protection policies. Saksham Vidyalaya – Saksham Bachca – Saksham Sikshak

Over thousand school children of ten government schools, survivors of trafficking and child labour of shelter home- Kishori Niketan attired in blue colour uniform joined hands to celebrate 29th International Child Rights Day held at Bijupada on 20 November 2018. The chief guest of the programme was Mr. Arjun Munda who appreciate  the efforts of BKS , said that their undue efforts to work tirelessly for children’s right will never go unnoticed as it has set the benchmark for various stake holders throughout the state.

State Resource Centre (SRC) & Integrated Rescue cum Rehabilitation Centre (IRRC)

Bal Kalyan Sangh is running State Resource Centre at Ranchi and Integrated Resource-cum-Rehabilitation Centre (IRRC) project at New Delhi, supported by Jharkhand Women Development Society (JWDS),an autonomous body setup under ,Department of Women, Child Development & Social Security Government of Jharkhand. The objective of establishment of these two co-ordination centers is to facilitate rescue of victims, identification of survivors staying in various shelter homes of Delhi and coordination with local administration and other stakeholders to facilitate support services like medical examination, lodging of FIR, wage compensation, legal aid and ensure safe repatriation to home state. Hamara Bachpan Hamara Adhikar

Programme Objective: To address the issue of Human Trafficking, Child Labour and Child Protection in source areas of Jharkhand, to aware and sensitize the people and children of Jharkhand, to advocate with government to form better policies, to work on drop out issues in Jharkhand and to combat this issue from Jharkhand and finally to create livelihood opportunities in Jharkhand. Programme Highlights: The two children Ms. Juhi and Ms. Poonam started anchoring the programme and they initially called the students of Rajkiya Krith Madhya Vidhyalaya Khunti to sing welcome song and welcome the honourable guests present in the dias. BAL KUNJ

BALKUNJ serves as a residential home for children who are away from home and provide comprehensive child care facilities to children for ensuring their all round development. It is aimed at ensuring proper care, protection and contribution in overall development of children up to the age of 18 years. The Objective of the Children Home is to:
  • Provide Shelter, Proper Care and Protection to children living in difficult circumstances without parental care.
  • Provide shelter to those children whose case is pending before the Child Welfare Committee till final decision is made or restoration in family is ensured.
  • Coordination with JSCPS, DCPS, CWC and local Police for rescue, rehabilitation and providing institutional care to children living in difficult circumstances and vulnerable conditions.
