State Resource Centre (SRC) & Integrated Rescue cum Rehabilitation Centre (IRRC)

Bal Kalyan Sangh is running State Resource Centre at Ranchi and Integrated Resource-cum-Rehabilitation Centre (IRRC) project at New Delhi, supported by Jharkhand Women Development Society (JWDS),an autonomous body setup under ,Department of Women, Child Development & Social Security Government of Jharkhand. The objective of establishment of these two co-ordination centers is to facilitate rescue of victims, identification of survivors staying in various shelter homes of Delhi and coordination with local administration and other stakeholders to facilitate support services like medical examination, lodging of FIR, wage compensation, legal aid and ensure safe repatriation to home state. Child ProtectionProgramme in MICA mining areas of Jharkhand

The Project area is part of the 3 bordering districts, namely Koderma & Giridih of Jharkhand state and Nawada district of Bihar state.  The areas are marked by its difficult terrain surrounded with dense forests, poor connectivity and isolation from all sorts of basic amenities. Mica picking and mining is mainly done primarily by the disadvantaged communities such as ST, SC and OBCs. (more…)

Swabhiman Balika

On 16th February 2019 Swabhiman Balika Program was organized by Bal Kalyan Sangh & ATSEC India at Dr. Ram Dayal Munda Tribal Research Institute, Ranchi. The agenda behind program was to launch the campaign for strengthening of the women empowerment schemes in Jharkhand. The Swabhiman Batiya campaign was launched on the day. The objective behind the campaign is to promote the “Mukhya Matri Sukanya Yojna” and aware the people about the issues like Child trafficking, Child Labour, Child marriage, Child abuse etc. In this campaign a bus equipped with pamphlets and posters of mentioned issues will running in the districts of Ranchi, Lohardaga, Khunti, Chaibasa, Gumla and Simdega to spread awareness among the community. Sakhi Samvaad

Sakhi samvaad programme was held on 11th March 2019 at Swabhiman Kendra, Bijupara, Ranchi to mark the International Women's Day of 8th March 2019. On this day the Chief Guest Shri. V. B. Pradhan, IPS, DG- Homeguard and Fire Brigade, GoJ addressed the women about women protection and self-safety. He also conducted the oath-taking ceremony of the Security Guard trainees of BKS who have successfully completed their training. Smt Kalyani Sharan, Chairperson, Jharkhand State Women Commission addressed the gathering of women and detailed them about rights of women and available govt. (more…)

Self introduction of participants was held after which business session started. Shri. Rakesh Sengar, (Project Director, BBA) said that we all always talk and discuss about child-protection. In this regard, I would like to say thatthere are two types of act that comes under it
  1. Juvenile Justice Act and

Hamara Bachpan Hamara Adhikar

Programme Objective: To address the issue of Human Trafficking, Child Labour and Child Protection in source areas of Jharkhand, to aware and sensitize the people and children of Jharkhand, to advocate with government to form better policies, to work on drop out issues in Jharkhand and to combat this issue from Jharkhand and finally to create livelihood opportunities in Jharkhand. Programme Highlights: The two children Ms. Juhi and Ms. Poonam started anchoring the programme and they initially called the students of Rajkiya Krith Madhya Vidhyalaya Khunti to sing welcome song and welcome the honourable guests present in the dias. TWO DAYS PROGRAMME WITH NOBEL LAUREATE DR. KAILASH SATYARTHI

        1st Day- KISHORE-KISHORI & YUVA SAMVAD           With Nobel Laureate Dr. Kailash Satyarthi An interactive session (Kishore-Kishori & Yuwa Samvad) with Nobel Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi was organized by BBA and BKS, meant to support campaigns for combating trafficking and child labour, in association with the state Social Welfare Department, JSCPCR and NGO partners like Plan India, CINI, Save the Children, Chhotanagpur Samaj Vikas Sansthan, Prerna, OAK Foundation, Jan Sarokar and Ekjut at hotel BNR Chanakya, Ranchi, on 22nd May, 2017. Shri. Sanjay Kr. Mishra said that new acts for children will create a milestone for children. This is the result of all those campaigns done till now.
