Webinar on “Mental Health of Children in the Digital Age” -World Mental Health Day 2025

On the occasion of World Mental Health Day 2025, Bal Kalyan Sangh, in collaboration with ATSEC India, organized a national-level webinar on “Mental Health of Children in the Digital Age.” Over 1500 participants including experts, NGOs, educators, and school children joined the discussion. The event was led by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Secretary of Bal Kalyan Sangh and National Coordinator of ATSEC India. Jharkhand’s First Child Welfare and Protection Committee Formed and Trained in East Singhbhum under Mission Vatsalya

In a pioneering move for child rights and protection, Jharkhand’s first-ever Child Welfare and Protection Committee (CW&PC) has been formally constituted and trained in Boram Block, East Singhbhum, under the central government’s Mission Vatsalya scheme.

Statewide Consultations in Jharkhand Strengthen the Fight Against Child Labour

To strengthen efforts for the elimination of child labour in Jharkhand, the Labour Department, Government of Jharkhand, in collaboration with Bal Kalyan Sangh (BKS) and the International Labour Organization (ILO), successfully conducted five divisional-level consultations across the state. These consultations, held across North Chotanagpur, South Chotanagpur, Palamu, Kolhan, and Santhal Pargana divisions, aimed to make the State Action Plan (SAP) more inclusive, practical, and grounded in local realities.
